Where’s it from?

It’s taken me a few years to design, source and sew everything in my shop, so my current stock comes from various countries, including the UK, US and Germany. Going forward, I’m looking to use only UK suppliers.

What’s it made of?

Most of my fabric is either linen-cotton or polyester velvet, but there’s also some suede, cotton sateen and kimono silk – just check each listing for details. I use my stock of furnishing and upholstery fabric for the backs of large cushions, but as I don't know the composition of most of it, I’ve labelled it ‘synthetic’.

Can I wash and iron my cushion cover?

I prewash all my own fabric (and furnishing fabric), so you can handwash all my cushion covers. Use warm or cool water and a mild detergent, and iron on the wrong side, not too hot: the suede, in particular, will melt under a hot iron!

Help! My zip won’t do up

If your cushion zip is a bit stiff, be gentle rather than try to force it: try turning the corner inside-out and pulling the zip from underneath. They do all work, promise!
Also, I don’t sew down the zip ends, so you may need to tuck them in.
