I draw my repeat patterns in Illustrator and Procreate, and use my own range of colour palettes, named (mostly) after Women in Shakespeare. So my pattern name comes first, followed by the colour palette.

I can use each colour palette across different patterns, which I can also scale up or down. As you can see from the examples below, the possibilities are endless!
