This beautiful soft white silk with pink camellias has been recycled from a Japanese kimono. It is handpainted, on a background weave of little fans. The silk is lightweight but strong, with a subtle lustre.
Kimono silk is made in narrow widths, so this is a small cushion, measuring 33 x 33 cm. The front and back are made from the same fabric, though here the back is plain – please see the photos.
There’s an invisible zip at the side and is the cushion cover is finished with pink cotton piping. You can handwash and iron it with care.
Please note that this is a cushion cover only – the pad isn’t included.
